Group A, as it stands now:

Uruguay - 4 (3-0)
Mexico - 4 (3-1)
France - 1 (0-2)
South Africa - 1 (1-4)

Group A, as it stands after the final two matches:

Uruguay? - ? (?-?)
Mexico? - ? (?-?)
France - 2 (0-2)
South Africa - 2 (1-4)

SATIRE!

my arse. come on mexico
 Sure, the result was exciting, but the action on the field itself...? Both Mexican goals were easy enough, and the rest of the game... what can you remember? I just remember one shot by France, Malouda, I think, with a good save the Mexican keeper... and... that's it really... what else happened, who else shone?

Aaaanyway... Come on Mexico! :D

Fair play to Mexico though, 2 accomplished performances so far.

LOL.

Yep. France were tres ordinaire. No way you can win anythign with that kind of gallic stand-offishness.

Looked like they just couldn't give a toss.

Blanco adds to his already mythical status as a national hero. Set for life I would think. Mexican folk hero for evermore.

^ Hehe, do you happen to read Warren Ellis' twitter...?
French team now standing around smoking Gauloises, composing miserable poetry.
French team: "We are so bored now that we will simply stand around and let the Mexicans score. Be SEARED by our ennui."

im going to paraphrase a french quote while we are on that theme....

"when told to prepare for battle, each Frenchman is urged to keep duct tape, a white flag, and a three-day supply of mistresses in the house."

fingers crossed for tonight. hopefully our start was a stutter.

I'm pulling for DE, but that setup for the goal by Serbia was incredible.

[edit] Germany should get some karma for that bullshit red card.
