Pretty dull game, I thought, with the exceptions of the Mexican goals. I wasn't expecting much from France, but that much apathy and lack of teamwork was incroyable... Surely that'll be the final straw for Domenech's role as coach...

Sure, the result was exciting, but the action on the field itself...? Both Mexican goals were easy enough, and the rest of the game... what can you remember? I just remember one shot by France, Malouda, I think, with a good save the Mexican keeper... and... that's it really... what else happened, who else shone?

Domenech was always going to stand down after this World Cup, but his demise may come sooner than he anticipated. It baffles me how France have struggled so badly when they have so many quality players.
