Does anyone ever watch music stuff on tv? Stuff like guitar center sessions, or artists den, or stuff like that?

I like things like documentaries on how albums were made from bands I like, or BBC stuff like "How Music Works". Really not much else out there that I run into that interests me.

When I got my Taylor guitar, it came with this subscription to a music channel of curated performances, obviously mainly guitar stuff. Those were actually really well done, there just weren't enough of them for me to check back more than once or twice ever few months. Sort of like the Red Bull Channel on Apple TV :(

I just find that stuff like linda perry project, guitar center sessions, and such are fascinating. I'm too old to do anything now (yes, I am :x ) but it's still fun to watch new artists full of fresh ambition or that have become a success.

I hear you. I don't know how or where I ran into this a few weeks ago, but the second song in particular starting at 11:30 has been stuck in my head for weeks since.

After a long seasonal low count DVR run it was nice to check last night and there were new episodes of South Park, Key & Peele, and Modern Family (get over it) awaiting me. :)

just binge watched Brooklyn 99.

good show. had me laugh out loud in some parts. Andy Samberg does a good job and doesn't take over.

Family Guy did a great episode mixed with The Simpsons last week. Plenty of humor from both franchises and acknowledged the similarities and rivalry.

Does anyone else feel that modern TV shows should aim to wrap up within two seasons? I simply haven't seen a show lately that can keep me interested over time. It's like every show keeps running for as long as the number of viewers is high enough.

I think that the True Detective model will surely catch on. That was basically an 8 hour movie.

Personally I’m disappointed this is the last season of Boardwalk Empire. They still have some strong historical characters going in their prime. If they stay true to the inspiration it will end with Nucky and Al going to prison for tax evasion. Yawn.
