After LSZ's SPOILER ALERT: "Nothing ever happens!!" comment about Game of Thrones I thought I wouldn't like it that much but it might have actually helped me to enjoy it more because I knew ahead of time mass scale action wasn't going to happen so I didn't expect it to. My only issue is that in episode 5 all the subtle distrust and betrayal went out the window and became blatant between just about everybody. It felt like they got a cancellation notice from HBO and had to step things up quickly to tie it all together before the finale.

Then I watched Tangled. Now I'm going to be all confused...a weekend of too many knights and castles.

At the very least I'm looking for more action at The Wall. A zombie or two couldn't hurt either.

It's long been my theory that any dull and uninspired movie or tv show can immediately be salvaged by introducing zombies. Take that awful movie Dreamgirls for instance: horrid. I was so numbed and bored about 30min into that thing. But had Jennifer Hudson turned into a zombie and started eating the other cast members?

You'd suddenly have a WINNER.

So as of last night and after my last post I am all current on GOT. Probably not by the end of this season, but I predict some epicness forthcoming with the invasion of the creatures in the north and the invasion of the hot blonde chick and her herd of roughians. And one should never downplay the British invasion of The Beatles.

Yeah, gotta say that the last 2 Game of Thrones eps were pretty great, and the finale was stunning. Finally they ratcheted things up.

The last 5 minutes was as good as it fucking gets. Wicked.
