Country stereotypes

Post by Rave » Wed Jun 30, 2010 4:37 pm

Granted some don't really hold up today but which ones still stand in your country?

For example, I live in France and yes they do stink of garlic at times however the chicks don't have hairy armpits.

I was hoping for a giant gif of Garth Brooks or something.

Really, didn't we cover this fertile ground in dum's 'the main difference' thread?

what are Canadian stereotypes for the rest of the world?

That we're friendly (ie: pussies)
Say "aboot" (kinda true in some remote places I think)
We don't live in igloos...

Maple syrup? I put that shit on everything. It's amazing, can't live without.

Although what South Sark said about our cars having square wheels and only one road in the whole country is true!

The only canadian stereotype I'm aware of is the fact they go to great lengths to let everyone know they're not american whilst travelling

Can't blame them!

Only problem being, no one knows what the fuck that flag is outside of N. America.

Except in France. Where they hate the Canadians for butchering their language.
