AWESOME!! Was really hoping this movie would be great. So far the summer movies have sucked, but I don't know why that should bother me because I usually don't see movies until they come out on DVD.

^ you'll want to see this one on the big screen. Nolan is the real deal. The actors are great. The movie is a mind-bending masterpiece. Saw the midnight showing, and couldn't fall asleep till 4am with all the thoughts going through my head. Can't wait to see it again this weekend. Amazing movie!!

It's worth it to see at least one movie on IMAX each summer, not only is the screen bigger, but the sound quality is vastly superior (at least here at the one downtown in Montreal)

^yeah, well, that movie is usually a Nolan movie. Dark Knight was absolutely AMAZING in IMAX.

As for sound, Inception has a very similar ring to Dark Knight. You had Hans Zimmer do his usual over-the-top cello/tuba deal that he used in Dark Knight, which was both dark, sinister, and pitch perfect. I'm willing to bet he used Zebra all over the place as well, just like he did in Dark Knight.

Here's the best spoiler-free review so far: http://www.christianitytoday.com/ct/mov ... ption.html

meh. i had the idea for this mov... wait a second, MacGuffin has had a suggestion planted in my subconscious that would cause me to make a typo, thus ruining my pithy quip as well as permitting him to make a pithy quip at my expense...! well I will fix that... movie years ago.

Our local IMAX is shown on the inside of a dome and I hate that shit because it makes the movie look like the entire thing was filmed with a fisheye lense. I don't know why anybody would think that is a good idea, acceptable, or worth paying extra for.

the dome thing is supposed to be for Omnimax projections, the people at that theatre are morons if they pay for fancy-ass projectors and don't understand the difference...

Hm, I don't think I've even seen a movie on a dome that didn't have the fisheye effect.
