Breaking Bad
Re: Breaking Bad
I liked series 1 and then thought series 2 was a bit meh. But I've heard it only gets better so looking forward to getting back into it
Re: Breaking Bad
This season is turning out to be quite epic. I'm constantly switching sides with the main characters, although I'm not really a fan of Walt at the moment. He needs to get a grip and is becoming a paranoid whining bitch.

Just watched 410
Best episode in a while IMO.
Once you get past Walters boring rant to his boring son... the rest of the episode is class.

Jesse's turned into a bad ass, and in one episode ******SPOLER ALERT******took care of the cartel problem******SPOLER ALERT******
which makes me think this might be the last leason, which can't be a bad thing...
Oh yeah, that "old friend" of the wife is a fucking retard.

Re: Breaking Bad
Breaking bad is absolutely ridiculous. I just started watching it and I am already on season 2.

I heard the main writer wants to kill the show off this season or maybe 1 more but the network is pressuring him to continue past that, most likely with truckloads of cash as an incentive.
Re: Breaking Bad
I watched a documentary on meth the other night which of course got me to think about Breaking Bad. What I find interesting is Breaking Bad is about moral dilemmas but yet it doesn’t really cover the ill effects of meth usage on individuals or society, sort of a gaping hole in the plot if the show is about moral dilemmas. At best they show its effects through partiers which probably wouldn’t be portrayed any differently if the subject was pot or alcohol. I guess they kind of touched on it with the girlfriend who died of a heroine overdose last season (or was it the season before), but maybe they’ll bring that aspect into the show a little more hardcore.

Re: Breaking Bad
I'm really glad the show DOESN'T get into the user side. There's already plenty of other media you can see on that, and it would be typical to go that route. But we do get to see that side from the dealers perspective and how there's trasgedy in there as well. I used to think it'd be cool if Walt got away clean. Now, not so much, but I'd like to see Jesse get away clean, and we wouldn't have expected that at first because he started out as the dumb yo-dawg, but he's really coming together.

Re: Breaking Bad
The talk with his son went on too long, but it was an amazing and heartfelt moment and a tour de force of acting on Cranston's part.

Re: Breaking Bad
Imagine how much more Walt's going to freak out now that Jesse's felt betrayed and is tighter w/ Mike and Gus because of the ordeals he's been through with them. It's Jesse that has the loyalty of M & G now, and he's feeling more bad ass than ever. Walt is nearly disposable at this point, he may just end up confessing to Hank to protect himself and family, I'm thinking. That would have been out of the question earlier, but he is unstable.
