All i get now, and all i've ever gotten as far as i can remember is fast forward?

Just pauze a youtube video somewhere in the middle and push left arrow on your keyboard,
you can also press it while the video is loading.

no I empathise whole heartedly, I just felt 5 minutes of entertainment watching the snake would probably be an activity ideally suited to a post-coffee shop experience.
