A new breed or forumites have risen and tbh they suck. I miss the good old days. :(

I've not been about as much (thanks stupidly busy job...) but it does seem the signal/noise ratio on here has taken something of a dive recently.

Shame, this place used to be both quite fun and useful.
Some stuff, and some other stuff. Honest.
Currently on a huge and mostly pointless promotion drive, come play:
Soundcloud!
Facebook!!

Not necessarily a bad thing. When I first started working with music there was no internet forums roping you in under the guise of being helpful but quickly becoming more of a distraction. My historical music output shows a sharp decline since forums like this came into my life compounded with the usual decline just based on aging.

I'll be honest, I came in with the intention of being serious. But when I started reading "It just works" ~30times a day, I decided to join in on the "fun." If you can't beat em', join em. It just works...

The forums are what you make it.

Although I miss Evil, Evil, Evil and aliases ...

Personally, I only think the Link Your Music section is suffering from noob overload and they soon realize that no-one visits the Link Your Music section so bugger off, except to post 'which vst / monitors / headphones' should I buy threads. Even master music evaluator TLennon has buggered off from the Music section, so things must be very dreary indeed there. (on a hypocritical note, something I do pretty well eh Russ ( :) ), I just posted a new link there, what was I thinking !)

Ravemonster - you're still here - so the forum's are OK by me :)

I have enjoyed reading the "discussion" between Leeds, Russ et al re: Pope/Church/Ethics/Creation. Nice to see you guys keeping it civil - and I've learned a thing or two.
