Loop's Community Guidelines for The Lounge - December 2010
Dear all,
This is the Lounge. If you are squeamish or in any way prone to sissy, sensitive artist tendencies, it would be best to stay the fuck away:
There's only one rule, actually.
The Apple RULE
Any discussion in which non-Apple products are promoted or glorified will be handled with the utmost severity.
Praise of any tablet product other than the iPad is a bannable offense.
Non-Apple discussions are of course permitted, but bonus points will be afforded to anyone that brings Apple into the conversation.
Steve Jobs will be refered to as Mr. Jobs or Mister Jobs at all times.
Any fucking mong who criticises AppleTV will be taken out behind the woodshed and beaten to within an inch of their life.
The repeating of Apple marketing slogans is not only encouraged, but welcomed and possibly rewarded with Ableton Merchandise. The more you do it, the more likely it is that you will receive a laptop bag.
Non MacBook visitors to the Lounge must sign in at the front desk, and will only be allowed to stay for a minimum of 10min per day. No exceptions.
Welcome.

Whoops, one more thing:
If you are a musician - Vis-à-vis play an actual instrument - then Welcome!
If you're just a fucking DJ and do nothing but wank faders and buttons - then watch yourself.
If you're just a fucking DJ but you're on a Mac.....well....we'll see.

Your real funny loopz, but just remember this. I know people, people with reach, people who can make you disappear.
$5 and one phone call is all it would take.

It's not broken. IT just has about 85% of the web blocked so if your picture is posted from a site that is blocked then all it shows is a broken link.Martyn wrote:Psychic? Or fibber? It's a common practice in large corporations with a lot of PCs. Just sayin'.
