David A: How's about adding YouTube embed into the forum?

Post by LoopStationZebra » Wed Jan 19, 2011 4:27 pm

This is phpBB, so I know it's possible. It would be very helpful to at least get a preview of whatever YouTube clip someone wants us to click on. Since there's no graphics or CPU drain unless you hit play, what do you say?

:)

First they need to fix the forum back to opening a link in a new window/tab by default.

Well, okay. If we are expanding the scope of my original request how's about a PayPal button next to user names so that awesome threads like this one can be appropriately funded? :P

How about iChat or skype so we don't have to do all this RSI inducing typing..

Battle Royal comes to mind.

Soundcloud embedding would make the most sense.

LOL, that would be great.

Okay, well, I still say with as much as you fellows LOVE to post YouTube links, my suggestion is valid.

SoundCloud embedding is another winner.

beats then gets his navigation problem solved for 90% of cases because you never leave the frigging page you are on.

WIN

Machines wins in my book. Soundcloud all the way. Much more important than youtube...

As long as every thread isn't suddenly inundated with soundcloud links from well intentioned DJs shilling their dubstep versions of Every Breath You Take, I'm fine with that....

But, you know... :P

Or like some forums where everyone's signature is a page wide Soundcloud DJ mix.
