I have one 8 min track that took 50+ minutes to render as it only uses 1 core when doing so. It was faster for me to set a new audio track to "resample" and record it realtime using all 12 cores :)

With rendering just being able to use one core, I'm having to use it less and less or I just sit waiting and waiting!

If your song renders in a shorter period of time than it took to render the 3D version of Avatar your song is crap. :x

I currently have a track that has been rendering since October. :x

"Creating the Na'vi characters and the virtual world of Pandora required over a petabyte of digital storage,[109] and each minute of the final footage for Avatar occupies 17.28 gigabytes of storage"

Another testimonial as to why people who are clamoring to get a 256G SSD drive for $500 are a pack of retards. Size matters.
