in which charts?

Also, what percentage of the track would have to be produced in Ableton to make it on your list. What about 3rd party plugins, are EQ's okay but not synths? If there were hardware synths recorded into another program, would that count as well.

Let me know and I'll compile a list.

Strictly Ableton, but with hardware recorded and VST's !!!
VST effects can be used too.

Reason or any other ReWire allowed too...
Ableton as main DAW !!!

No other DAW's involved...

Any genre any charts !!! (..no discrimination on that... )

No idea in that case. Did anything off the last beck album chart? The dust brothers used Live on that. if I still read sound on sound I might of had an answer but I imagine any productions that emerge from underground electronic scenes that then crossover would have a good chance to be Live projects

I can no go remember where I was reading that Dust Brothers start in LIVE and they move it all over to PRO TOOLS aftewards.
If I find about the article, I will post it on over here.

None!!!

Just a guess, but of all the interviews I've ever read or seen on video, the artists may start off in Live, but they bounce the project to Pro Tools or Logic. This may not be the case with Reason, though. I think Claude VonStroke has made a couple tracks completely in Reason. I think he uses Live too at times but I don't know that he's finished projects completely in Live.

I think TOP 20 is not the target for producers using ableton live!

Look at DJ-charts or electronic-music-charts.
For example Richie Hawtin is a well known ableton-live-producer:

Anders Trentemoller did the recording of his album "Into the great wide yonder" completely in Live 8 (Future Music issue 233, german Sound&Recording 4/2011), stems were taken and mixed on analoge gear. Does that count...?

To be fair, with major big-budget "top 20" work, bouncing down stems and moving over to Pro Tools for the mix would be very common. As such, a production could be done largely in Live, Logic, Reason or whatever but it will almost certainly end up in Pro Tools some time before the mastering phase.

For example, the recent Radiohead albums, its a good bet that Live was used at some time in the production but I'd be astonished if they kept those parts in Live right to the end of the production.
