Would you recreate any songs of yore?


I personally would re-do Love shack, and call it F-Shack

waking up in the 80's with all my gear (assuming I knew how to use it, time warp considering) would be a lot of fun.....and with youth on my side, I could be sitting here a rockstar in the here and now 30 years later.

Nah. I'd probably have a few Back to the Future "guess you're not quite ready for this yet" moments though.

and just what exactly are we going to do with all this music equipment? make cassettes? unless your friends are all rich, a CD burner won't take you far and lets hope that you don't lose a hard drive, need a USB cable or have to unlock Live... because you'll be F.U.C.K.E.D.

Hell, why stop in the 80's....keep going till you reach the late 60's. I'd carry my Jackson Soloist superstrat, a big-ass Mesa amp, some Fx units.....the place is the Montery Pops Festival. I'd get up there and open with Eruption, follow that with some Malmsteen (Far Beyond The Sun) and wrap it up with some Satriani shit....or maybe "For The Love Of God" (Vai). The audience wouldn't know what the fuck just hit them....and I'd of course be an instant Rock God as Hendrix comes by and kisses my shoes.
