- The combat engine is SHIT. I'll have the stick pegged at the enemy(s) but the stupid fucking guy is thrashing around in the totally opposite direction like a blindfolded Mexican kid flailing at a pinata. If you do get him to swing in the right direction visually you are almost never making contact but the sound effects tell a different story. And then you're dead. Really fucking nice.

-The unmarked indistinguishable buildings in the towns are SHIT. I don't care how many times I go back there. I can never remember which is a house, bar, merchant, or hotel. And there's an endless train of owned beds nobody is sleeping in. Fuck.

-Traversing the mountains is SHIT. The spots where it looks like you can go up you can't, and the spots where it appears to have a incline of close to 90 degrees you can just waltz on up. And then there's the other 80% of the time when you can't visually tell what the fuck is going on with the graphics smashed up against the screen. I take that back. That's 90% of the time.

-The navigational bar at the top is SHIT and having to exit the main game screen to see the map is SHIT which you have to do frequently because, like I said, the navigation bar is SHIT. Then there's bouncing between the region map and the local map. Kill me. I had my aim tight on the quest icon on the navigation bar in attempt to secure the dragon's ankle bone trinket which landed me in a dungeon cave which took me forever to complete because the combat engine is SHIT but when I emerged out the other end I still didn't have the dragon's ankle bone trinket. What did the map tell me? It told me it should be there. So like an asshole I ran through the same 16 mile long dungeon cave 3 times before I just threw my controller and went to go look at some porn. Not even George W. Bush can be fooled that many times. The piece of shit.

-The quest system is SHIT. I just told you why.

But thank christ there's like 6,000 quests because the only way to complete any of them is to accept them all and complete them by blind luck wandering around aimlessly.

If there was ever a time on this forum for you to use the :x face I think that would be it.
1. if you suck at the combat system then you must suck at pretty much every first-person game...the combat system is pretty easy...

2. Um, every store is marked with a sign 8O And besides, when you look at a door it shows on the screen where the door leads to (e.g. "The Bannered Mare")

3. You're right - there are times where you can't walk up 70 degree inclines...I'm not sure what you mean by the graphics being "smashed up against the screen"

4. Wow, you really suck at this game... 8O
Whoa. WHOA. Tarekith is one of the most respected and helpful members of this forum so take it ease.

As a sidebar, I realize video games are a big part of culture right now, but I hope there's other more real world issues that you defend as valiantly as you did as Skyrim, which Tarekith pointed out there's several aspects that are SHIT.

- My followers are just dumb, they keep running in front of me in tight hallway battles while I'm casting spells, and before you know it they're permanently dead.

- Just like Fallout, it's stupid hard to find merchants with enough cash to buy half my loot.

- There's almost TOO many quests. Hard to finish one without having 20 more thrown at you along the way that are all more tempting than the one you're working on. I'm almost afraid to talk to anyone because they're going to give me more quests at this point.

Really fun though, the new leveling system is awesome, and the dungeons are all nice and unique this time around. Great stories too.
why use followers? they are just a pain in the arse as you said. just tell them to wait somewhere in a town and use them as storage.

merchants usually restock and get more money every 2 days...i think..

i hear you about all those quests! but then you don't have to do them all. you just have to try to resist the temptation (which i am failing to do..)

I need followers just because I keep getting my ass handed to me on the more interesting quests still. Or by snow bears :)

i stopped caring about making music for now thanks to skyrim. im sure i will get bored with it in the future but for now i live in skyrim.

there are massive bugs with this though, like some one said, climing (or jumping) up a mountain works really weird, the graphics underwater look like something from commodore 64, when installing the game to xbox the textures look like shit. and then there is these known bugs :

no the makers of the game have acknowledged that the game looks worse when it installed to the xbox hard drive rather than playing from the disc.

there is suppose to be a bug fix for this and the many other bugs soon though.

I thought the first one was great actually. The story was really, really good, gameplay was really good, and graphics were really good. Bioshock 2 was really good too, though, while it had more "wow" moments than the first one, I actually thought the first one's story was a lot better and less predictable.
I am really pumped for Bioshock Infinite. Loved the first one but didn't bother with the second. I think it was a case where Bioshock was so surprising, good, and its story was so tightly contained that I ended up satisfied and didn't need a sequel. Besides, watching some interviews with Ken Levine, sounds like he didn't have much if at all to do with 2, which makes it sound a bit like a moneygrab.

Now Bioshock Infinite sounds like a really interesting sequel. It looks like they're taking the core gameplay ideas from Bioshock, adding some really cool stuff to them, and placing it in a completely different environment with a brand new story. I really appreciate them taking that risk and hope they can capture again what made Bioshock so special.

Just high settings, not ultra...

To be honest, the cow looks like shit even with ultra textures on the PC.
