I'll be disapopitned if she ends up writing a book and people buy it; specifically the part where people buy it. I have a feeling it won't be long for something bad to happen to her though; it will be a mystery, but that's ok.
Actually the sad thing is she as batshit as she is, she probably has the sense to not try and cash in on her 15 minutes.
I think it would be cool if some nearby town mob will hang her but make it look like a suicide and they'll all keep it a secret and feel really good inside.

Or, if you've seen 13 Assassins, they do the same thing that happened to that village daughter in the beginning.

This case is IMO one of the most perfect examples of why the death penalty is a sham.
Because the DA thought he could get the death penalty, the jurors were terrified of handing over a guilty plea on circumstantial evidence.
In a state with no death penalty the jury would have handed over a guilty verdict, since it would then be possible for them to be OK with 99.9% sure. You know? beyond a shadow of reasonable doubt? Plenty of people are convicted of murder charges with much less real evidence, but they were looking at life in prison at the most. This way if there really was a cover up, at some point Casey would come clean with the real story.

The death penalty costs more for numerous reasons, and it makes jurors uneasy. That was obvious when listening to them talk about it. Plus, nobody would care if Casey wasn't a spoiled middle class brat.

The death penalty thing is definitely debatable, but I'm not convinced that it's the only reason they came up with a not guilty verdict. I'm convinced that it was simply a case of the judge (or handler) not properly instructing the juror. I mean listen to what the one juror said (the one who did say that she herself was hung on the death penalty part) - she said that, whether death penalty or not, since there was no physical evidence linking Casey Anthony to the crime scene then she can not convicted. The problem, imho, is that we have a CSI-era of people who all expect every murder case to have some major, concrete smoking gun - that hardly ever happens.

Yeah there's definitely a feeling I get that the jury was led down some serious rabbit holes. The whole "daddy kiddy fiddled me" routine.... christ? that the judge didn't immediately put a stop to that? I don't think there's a legal precedent for libel that says it's OK because one person says it happened, and once it's thrown out there, it frames everything the dad says with that tar. In fact it had zero to do with the case if it did happen. If we let every victim of incest murder their own children it might clean up the gene pool a bit, but it would ruin civilization in the process.
The major concrete smoking gun here is she lied, she gave not a fuck that her daughter was "missing" she partied, she lied some more, and she then proceeded to blame her father for her behavior. If you're to believe her version she accidentally let her child drown, then covered it up, and just had a blast partying. Even her version is fully convict-able as manslaughter or negligent homicide. That's why I'm convinced that the jury pussed out because they thought she was mental and didn't want to have her executed by accident if it was indeed a case of negligent homicide.
