and, again, what you don't understand is that sound IN REAL TIME is music (when played by humans). Recorded is just sound. MIDI in real time is music (sound+music). MIDI recorded remains music (because of the code).

sound IN REAL TIME can be sound of anything. can be sound of music, can be sound of fart, can be sound of car engine running, can be sound of dog barking etc etc.

So again, sound of what?

sound cannot be noise. A sound is something different from noise, because of different waveforms. That is why neither sound nor noise are "music". Music is the code, abstract. You can "dress" it with whatever you want. Because it is "before" the phisical experience. It is the "airframe", not the "dressed" form.

sound can be noise, we call the sound of noise. if sound of noise cannot exist, we could never hear noise. when tv cable gets disconnected, i hear noise, that is, i hear the sound of noise.

sound can be any waves, venn diagram, sound can be regular waves, sound can be random waves, sound can be square wave, whatever wave you want.

yeh sound must go through medium.

maybe sound could even go through vacuum, or ether, but then we get metaphysical, and as you said before, its a technical question.

You need to go back to school. "Sound" encompasses all disturbances of air molecules that can be perceived by the human ear, animals' ears, or by electronic metering equipment. "Noise" is one particular form of sound, as you said "random waves." But "sound" is NOT limited to only "regular waves." A sound can be a single periodic wave (sine), a combination of periodic waves (complex tone), or a combination of aperiodic waves (noise).

So now we know that your understanding of basic acoustics is as abysmal as your understanding of music history.
