What's the next IN genre?

Re: What's the next IN genre?
I have just created a new genre. It's called Future House. It will always be ahead of its time and everyone will try to copy it but fail.
It will only be available to select Djs who will become instant hits on DJ mag. They will dominate the top 10 slots
The tracks will have a special drm so that if any unauthorised DJ tries to play them then their gear will blow up.

I'm almost finished with a new app for Future House, actually.
It's 77 bpm, right?

This is why Ishkurs Guide will never get to V3. I only live to see it come to fruition.

I quite liked the track, but I'm looking at more tough ones, like these mainstream ones, but without the mainstream sides the quest is probably "un-achievable"...
anyway, never mind, I prefer Meshuggah or Dub Trio

Is a good intro...
I don't think it really counts as dubstep, but Timestretch is still my favorite Bassnectar track. "Basshead" is fun too, on a nice system.
Ah, the track I posted a link to was Bassnectar.

Yep
Bassnectar have made some great tracks, but what I'm searching for is really much more LIKE Skrillex's productions, but WITHOUT the hype voices and commercial lead melodies... something like underground hard dubstep or something like that...
thanks anyway for your links
BTW polkastep is now already OUT

Re: What's the next IN genre?
For what it's worth I don't get why all you House people bother to hate on other or new genres? Personally I've always disliked House in all it's forms, but not with any real passion, so I just don't bother talking about it or posting in threads about the latest House derivative tracks. Works out well. Kids love Dubstep because it came out in the last 5 years. House has been around forever so it's a little hard to generationally identify with it if you're so inclined. One thing about Dubstep, at least when it first came out, it got away from the whole Oonz Oonz Oonz four on the floor thing, which was refreshing.
The most fucked up part? I was hoping this thread would have links to bands people thought were doing something cutting edge instead of it being a butthurt social club because a dance genre you don't like is popular...

Try something like Matta or Broken Note on Ad Noiseam. Might be what you're looking for.supamonsta wrote:Yep
