42. Machines called it! 20's were spent trying to get famous, 30's trying to dig out of the financial ruin as a result of fame and fortune delusions, 40's have begun to settle into an "I just want to be creative and have fun making tracks that inspire me," the expectations are gone....

24. No complaints... apart from sometimes wishing I could go back to being 19 and at uni (I'm so much better at things like making the most of my free time, looking after myself, talking to girls, etc. than I was then), it's all good. I'm sure I'll be saying similar things in 5 years time, mind.

People always told me that being a teenager, then being a student, is the "time of your life", but to be honest a lot of the time I feel more like I'm having that right now in my early-to-mid 20s than I ever did then. Apart from the full-time-job thing, that's a bit of a bitch; then again it's nice actually being able to afford stuff sometimes. Let's hope it keeps going that way ;)

^ once you accept the full time job bit you've got it nailed. the rest is just shit life throws at you. i don't necessarily want to get older, but i don't want to be in my teens or even 20's again that. is. for. sure.

people in their 20's and below are too busy trying to become famous, and most people like me in their 40's and above have given up on music for various reasons.
Some guy posted a while ago his music with a few Live questions who was in his 80's that was pretty dammed cool, his jazzy electronic music wasn't too shabby either. 8)

I'm 19, and yes haha, I have to admit that I want to make it in music. But I realize that recording is an art form that takes time and patience. I'm glad that there is so much wisdom out there
