He finally weirded himself out and is too embarrassed to expose anything to the world.

I actually forgot about the Tuss, so if you take that into account then it's a little less. Also thanks for the hint scutheotaku, I read the interview and hope they will be released soon even if they are one-song albums.. I'm starving here!!

saw him play on sonar this summer and it was huge. but didn't sound new. but still better than anything else that night. At least he doesn't reinvent himself as rockband like others do, e.g. apparat.

I appreciate it when electronic musicians play live as a band, I find it innovative.. However I saw Apparat and band a month ago and have to say it wasn't very good. Trentemøller wins.

about 8 years ago I literally bumped into him and his wife? / girlfriend? around elephant and castle. It was a complete double take moment, I'm walking along and suddenly out of nowhere Richard T James and this bleached blonde! She did look a little like a Russian escort, and totally not the kind of woman I'd imagine him with - which if i'm honest would probably be some weird twisted individual from a Chris Cunningham video.

For many, electronic music is a means to get away from having a band/being in a band.

Just saying. ;)

I like doing both, but all my bands have not been electronic.

Richard James came up with the idea of controlling a 48 piece string section and a 24 strong choir by remote control, using midi controllers, lots of headphones and some remote visual cues, after being commissioned to write some pieces for the European culture congress in Poland.
There was only one opportunity for a rehearsal to see if the idea worked, it was in the morning, the day of the concert!
