how much time do you spend looking for your lighter daily?
how much time do you spend looking for your lighter daily?
How much time do you think you waste each day looking for your lighter?
Be honest.

but still 5 mins a day?
I was hoping to establish some kind of meaningful social commentary about how we could have this much of our lives back if we just did without lighters.
reminds me:
"remember, It's not driving when your drunk that kills, it's driving TOO FAST when you're drunk" - Shane MacGowan

Mine is always in the same pocket. I'm pretty OCD about it. The only time I have to look for it is when my wife borrowed it and left it in the kitchen, in which case it's normally in the same place.

I don't use lighters, but I do have an awfully hard-to-reach light switch, if that counts.

there is only one lighter;
anything less is uncivilized.

That's not a lighter, that's a bottle opener that spews flame.

Re: how much time do you spend looking for your lighter daily?
I have several. Two at home and one in my bag. Still doesn't stop me going outside without and having to walk back
Re: how much time do you spend looking for your lighter daily?
Well I am not a smoker so no time for lighter.
Re: how much time do you spend looking for your lighter daily?
I shifted 100% to e cigs (thanx trevox!) so it is solved forever. My solution was - multiple placings. Still have box of few dozens lighters that i will never use. At some stage I decided to use my guitar picks solution- having them everywhere ready to use whenever i might need them. So picks and lighters were all around at least 4 on the workstation rack (at least dozen picks) left, right, up down etc. Same in every room ( unusable for lighters but I have a pick also in almost every piece of wardrobe)
The only problem - both picks and lighters- is if there are any females around-random,casual or relationships . Seems like by their very nature females are pre programmed to collect items from various locations and stacked them. It is a mysterious urge females are not able to control and no explanation, screaming at helps, they will keep doing it no matter what.

I use a carpet-bomb strategy, and have lighters all over the house. I can see three from my desk right now. I can't imagine how many I'd need if I smoked cigarettes too...

the trick is to make them think that your ex did it all the time and that was one of your favorite things about your her... don't forget to stare off into space with a confusing but possibly pleased look on your face when sharing this [fictitious] piece of your past. <-- very important if you get that last part wrong this will be your current girlfriend's favorite thing about your old girlfriend toorikhyray wrote:The only problem - both picks and lighters- is if there are any females around-random,casual or relationships .
