Probably wouldn't buy the track. BUT I'm envisioning being at a club where the DJ is being a total bore so it's time to refresh my drink, but then he drops this track and it's time to return to the dance floor. Fuck my place in line. I can work (it with) this. It's white people funk which wouldn't be considered funk by any other race or historical reference.

thanks for opinionating

and thanks for the funk part, it's so square and ungroovy in my opinion(and it was made that way, it's a pretty square album)

I think some percussion would've taken off some of that tension in that track, like some rolling hihats later on to really get the tempo flowing a bit easier.

But the bassline is sick, nonetheless.

Hello Curve! Lovin it. Possibly the most complete classic format song I've heard from anybody on this forum to date, and that's not a diss. I am really blown away and floored by this track. I hope others in here check it out. In a word, stunning.
thanks so much for the kind words! :)

After the intro snare fill I thought it was going to go into some metal, but then it went somewhere more interesting...beach front bar band music at sunset. It's all quite pleasant. I enjoyed it. Was a lot of this played live? If not, you have some solid MIDI programming skills.

Thank you for listening and commenting. It starts out being played live, and then midi gets reprogrammed or edited as needed, coupled with cut copy paste....Next pass will have some more electronica elements added....

I just went with your reverbnation page.

If you assassinated Trent Reznor you'd be a solid shoe in for scoring the next David Fincher movie. Some really solid production and I'd like to invite you to join the first meeting of the support group for music producers with no marketable demographic.
I shall take that as a great compliment, thank you. And the bitter pill that follows as alas the support group is needed

Wait, this gives me an idea.

Should we take Trent Reznor as hostage and force Ableton to release Live 9?

:x

Does this qualify as CuddleCore?

http://shtank.bandcamp.com/track/makin-good

since I've been fuckin' with this thought I'd throw it out there
not my usual MO, mpc'n with some sprinkles
the beat was made from a Goldbaby kit
kept it simple
maybe a little too compressed
did a little editing

only heard in headphones

Go forth and rap. I need to add a few more things anyway.
I'd like a dry stem if possible so I can do whatever to it, if you're serious...
