Tracks for chicks

http://soundcloud.com/aronbas/aron-bas- ... king-track

Wrote a backing track on Sunday for a band. The aim is to keep it simple so no exotic sounds produced.

Track is primarily for the ladies so there is space to lay a vocal over it which will have a theme focusing on real issues such as which pink dress to wear and what to feed her pony. The middle 8 which needs to be recorded will address the fundamental connection between a woman's inner child and her teddy bear. The track is quite intense tbh.

Still lots to fix but the back bone of the track is done.

Hope your other half appreciates it. Sadly u won't. There is no deep funky baseline nor any of my other trademarks in it. It's like listening to a possessed deep house producer. I blame the fact I watched The Excorcist last week and then proceeded to read a load of ouija board experiences (true story)

Excuse me now there is a priest at my door.

Ah yes, the instant evocation I got was Sarah Mcachlan singing the time and temperature! Success.

Do you have any advice for people who seem to write music exclusively for chicks such as myself??

Most uplifting sounding track posted on this forum EVER.

It's bordering on the smooth jazz the 1% put on when they cozy up to their fire fueled by 100 dollar bills.

I'm curious to see what the band does with it.
