Thank you! I appreciate a different point of view. I would also like to apologize for venting my spleen and I hope it didn't give rise to too much in return, as I haven't bothered to read any more posts above the one quoted. Nothing good usually comes from such outbursts, and I'll try to keep such things to myself in the future in the hope that I'll be able to use the forum for constructive purposes. Again, my apologies.Forge. wrote:unless they meant the kama sutra?pepezabala wrote:even if it meant "read the fucking manual" it would rather be offensive towards the manual and not towards the OP.Bagatell wrote:I believe RTFM can also mean "read the fantastic manual".

rtfm page 16
But instead of saying thank you, you pick him up on his use of the term rtfm.
If it was meant harshly I don't think it would have been used in such a helpful context.
I think you are being over sensitive.
Christ? I wonder what the guy would have wrote who got the compression jpg. onslaught after asking about uses for compression if his skin has been as thin?

Have been reading Godel, Escher, Bach and will keep an eye on that pun as it will certainly fit in a conversation between Achilles and Tortoise. Also, music needs more canons.

it's because most musicians can't afford the full college experience.

If you make it to the end let me know if the last third was worth reading. I drifted away from it when it got to the part with the bloke with his brain being kept alive in a lab while his body was down a mine shaft or something.
