You're reading too much into it. The interviewer has a super directional dynamic mic. It's one of the quietest NAMM interviews I've heard, hardly any background noise, and I'm pretty sure by how undisturbed the AKAI guy was that he was informed it would be a little space invading interview wise. Did look like a overtly aggressive suitor for sure though!
