Right, and having read only "the first three pages" as you stated here, you clearly are basing this assertion on experience.

So does trolling pay well, or what?

I'm not trolling. I just know bad writing when I see it. The story is probably fine overall, and who doesn't love sex and violence?? But when every sentence is so forced that it makes me cringe, I know that I will not enjoy the book. I remember thinking that it sounded like one of those writing assignments high school kids get where you have to use at least 5 similes and 3 instances of personification in a paragraph... and the piece ends up all choppy and awkward with no FEELING at all.

After reading the first three pages of 50 shades of gray and seeing the words "throbbing cock" twenty-five times... you're pretty damn sure you don't need to read any more of it (unless you're into that kind of thing  ).

Let me put it in terms of pick your poison.

This season's opener was the most pirated TV episode of any show ever ever.

Gangnam Style has the highest viewer count on youtube ever.

OK, go.

I am not going to wait for the series to air on Danish television in 6 months.

You are not alone.

I watched the first episode last week and found it to be slow and quite shallow.

I can see how they captured the nerd demographic with plenty of tit shots and pre-teen sex.
If you want to see porn there is this thing called the internet which nerds have kind of got a monopoly on.

Sure you get the whole "Yeh stick with it, it gets better" but if we only get the luxury of 30 seconds for music to capture peoples attention I say fuck it. They had their chance.

Sons of Anarchy did it right, from the first episode they had you smoking from the crack pipe.

After the first episode (season 1), I was all like "meh". But then it got good.

Yup. I almost couldn't get through the first couple of episodes. Everyone had a big sword but seemed to want to talk each other to death instead, lol. Thankfully I started enjoying it more then read all the books after the first season ended. It rocks. The books, the show. Quality.

Plus, the dragon girl is nummy.

I saw a photo of her once with dark hair. It was like finding out there is no Santa all over again.

Never got that curious or had enough people telling me "it's actually not that bad" to get that far. Kudos.
