iOS 6 and adhoc networking - kaputt?

Dear Loungerati,

Hearing reports that adhoc networking from laptop to iPad running iOS6 is broken...

Anyone seen this on their set-up?

I have had problems with this.. Haven't gotten it to work yet. Hopefully someone posts a fix here.
