I dont even like stepping outside on a cloudy day without my shades. Not because I'm trying to look cool or anything. I just have sensitive eyes, yup... 8)

My cat's eye got all swollen once. So we took it to the vet and the vet amputated it to save the cat from infection. Arrgh.

I just got back from taking our dog to the vet.
The vet picked the dog up, had a look at his eyes, had a look at his teeth and had a look in his ears.
Finally the vet said "Its no good, i'm gonna have to put the old boy down"
I was in shock, i said.. "Holy hell.. why?"
The vet said,, "Because these St Bernards are very big and heavy and i'm not sure i can hold him like this for much longer."

ken, my old man had that, I remember taking him up to Manchester eye hospital to get it sorted. It's only a short stroll from the old music gear shops on Oxford Road. I can't recall the details of the treatment without squirming, but will say you are fortunate to have dedicated, professional treatment so close to you.

That could be a vitamin thing[/quote]

Your probably right about that. I cant seem to get in the habit of taking vitamins. Anyway, uveitis, new one to me. Ill keep my eye out for those symptoms (pun only partially intended). Good info to know. I wish you a speedy recovery.
