OH boy

live 9 and Push are coming out. I'm so excited about this "drop". push will make my music better cause its a step sequencer. Live 9 will make my music better cause i can put automation into the clip. before I had to resample, thats what was holding me back. i wish i was 15 and could believe that.

Hey everybody.. with push and live 9 YOUR MUSIC WILL STILL SUCK. easier workflow does not automatically produce art. I do expect there to be a definite PUSH sound. it will probably be super repetitive loop music with minimal variation. i cant wait to hear that shit. it will look cool to see someone do it for a few years, but soon all this hands on shit will be obsolete anyway.. I'm waiting for the 3-d shit. fuck push. its way too much money to have something that everyone else is going to have. fuck live 9... its never coming out anyway. I wish

that's absurd! more buttons + learning curve x money = banger

it's simple arithmetic really.

I currently have 237 buttons, but I simply can't finish a track until I have 238.

Holy fuck! That could really take a drone or filtered white noise to the next level!

They need to push harder to get PUSH out faster, before I find somewhere else to lay this cash.

I have also noticed that a new music technology product is coming out, and I understand that potential customers get excited by this.
Although I didn't realise the depth of indignant feeling it this can inspire in someone who isn't interested in it. That's quite the product they have there. It even gets the not-interested interested!

I have two more pieces of bad news for you though.
#1: NAMM was full of new techo musical products.
#2 : all existence is meaningless

Push + 9 + 'no money' = fuck you

A tried and true formula for the broke and passionate.

You're still gonna find a way though....

The passionate will find a way. Depending on what state you live in, there's lots of handy work on CraigsList. I used to make $900 doing gigs before I scored my current career. A challenge for most musically inclined is to diversify out of the music realm when funds need to be generated.

Agree with that gear trend killing music. AFAIC, I sure don't want a controller that will take me to a direction they want me to go for making music. And the fact that interface design, in elements like the browser, is made for Push users is really disappointing, to say the least.
Given the launch date on march 5, it seems Live 9 will be as buggy as 8 when the first version came out. If my memory's right, I waited at least 8.05 to jump in. And the price structure seems completly cryptic. I own Live 8 Operator and MFL and want to upgrade to Live 9 (not suite), but still can't understand how much I will have to pay. And I don't give a fuck about special Live 9 + Push upgrade price.
