Kind of cool as a project but kind of limited in what it can do. I'm all for "hands on" but that's a hell of a lot of metal and bulk to make the sounds he was making. Would be a good workout though.

this is pretty awesome. shamelessly going in your own direction is good, he just has to make it functional.

The set up is part of the performance, the fact that most of you don't get that is why most electronic acts are frankly boring to watch live.
but hey it fit in your backpack...

Brilliant!
He needs to hook up with some like-minded folks & create a band of such physically-involved controllers/instruments. :D

Reminds me of one of my original inspirations: science-fiction & horror movie laboratory controls! When the mad scientist would throw a switch or pull a lever, the accompanying weird sounds would build to a wonderful cacophony!
