OR...

"For years we have been claiming such bullshit, telling you that the one-button mouse is better, more intuitive, cooler, more human, more comfortable, more ergonomic, more "mac". Well, sorry: the mac one-button mouse is just a pain in the mac neck, and the fatty PC nerd was right. Rather than create useless "cool jestures" and other complex crap, we promise: next models are going to have two buttons".

It's true, using ones fingers can be tricky. My mom actually makes me wear mittens.

Lol, my latest Pixelmator project is so heavy that my late 2012 MacBook Pro's GPU is periodically rage-quitting, and my screen going black. Also I just installed Mavericks DP1 as my primary OS because fuck me, right?

Trackpads are probably better than mice, but they are actually a subspecies, or a close cousin. When I talk about 'mouse-free' I mean free from the trackpad as well.

I did try a gesture for previous page but it caused mixups so I got rid of it.

Naw mate, you shoulda stuck with it. Worth the time once the muscle memory kicks in. I have 3 track pads. One on each side of my mac pro keyboard and one for my lappy. Redundant maybe, but it's way better. Mice n trackballs are crap. Key commands? not intuitive. Me gots too many programs to remember. "Easier" makes better sounding music. Oh, and don't use the clicker, set for tapping to select. Saves tendon strain if you jack off a lot.

Gestures are essential for touchscreen pc and tablets. Otherwise a mouse or trackpad (on notebooks) with two buttons are still the best device. I guess if Apple introduce "the two-buttons magicdifferent mouse", in 2025 or so, macfanboys will scream about the macmiracle :mrgreen:

Sorry, but I am fed up with this one button idiocy. I own a macbookpro, they want me to "gesture" on the "magic glass trackpad" but i just would like a right-side button, like any other notebook in this world. Nothing else. Solution: external mouse, 5$.

Mavericks -> OS X 10.9
DP1 -> developer preview 1 (ie beta)
OS -> operating system
fuck me right -> my dearest wish

BTW, for the sake of accuracy, Apple mice and trackpads have had two buttons for many years now. But to figure that out, Myrnova, you'd first have to start by learning the basics of spelling.
