I didn't. But I thought you were suggesting the US were behind the whole shebang. Sorry if that's not what you meant. Many threads have turned into the "evils of US policy" recently, so maybe I'm seeing things that weren't there. Since you said you hadn't been following the situation closely, I thought I'd give you a heads up (in the most basic sense).Funk N. Furter wrote: I still don't see the connection. Why do you equate the US backing the military with the US engineering millions on the streets?
Well the Muslim Brotherhood seemed to want a social revolution, if that's what you call turning the country into a more Islamist state. What's good for the masses isn't necessarily what they vote for, but I think you get that. Unfortunately for the brotherhood, Egypt has always been a bit more more secular, so I guess it didn't go down too well. Hence 2 rebellions in just over 2 years.Funk N. Re: Egypt
for now they need to forget about parties, religion, elections and all...the people need to overthrow the military...wonder if the US will let that happen? that would be the test as to where US loyaty really lies...

It is a backward culture though, but that's not racist, it's just a fact. Lenin bemoaned the backwardness of the culture of the Russian workers and communists, let alone the peasants who were incredibly backward. The capitalist class were more advanced because they knew how to run an economy.

1. Take power by forceFunk N. Furter wrote:That is what Lenin said.

2. Realize you have no idea what you're doing
3. Destroy civilisation
This is the communist way.
Regrettably, once in power, socialists like Lenin, Hitler and Mussolini didn't outright admit that their childish notions of how a country could be run were pure, ignorant fantasy, and step down with honor. Now if only we humans could learn from their example and let the "dream" die, that'd be great.

How inconvenient that science itself is racist.
Re: Egypt
I guess in Egypt what is happening now is something similar to what happened here (Italy) after the WW2: fascists (in egypt "muslim party" or such: conservative and for tradictions) against antifascists (in italy they were against the church, in Egypt they are against all those dumb theocracists). People in Egypt are divided into these two factions. In Italy we almost had a civil war for that.
In Italy it ended like this: the U.S.A. occupied the territory and coerced to set up a pseudocatholic system in order to mantain U.S. war policy and exploitment. The U.S.A. controlled italian politicians, who were puppets of U.S. government. Every time italian people wanted to change the situation, U.S. put bombs in cities, trains, banks, etc. to create panic among the population and preserve "order" (aka: dictatorship). The church corporation was of course allied with U.S. because the CIA gave money to priests and such criminals: religion is a good way to brainwash people, almost like american movies and cheesy pro-system american popstars. For the rest, the U.S. put all the mussolini's fascists inside italian police and carabinieri, and among judges. That is why you can see how italian police "act" often... (see genoa)
Of course, the U.S. did like this in any part of the world, expecially south america, asia and africa and european mediterranean countries (greece, portugal, spain). They will do the same in egypt. Just wait and see...

Re: Egypt
let's say: half of the egyptian population want bread and freedom. The others want bread and tradition (religion and the crap). Consequence: civil war and/or U.S. territory control, aka "exporting democracy" through bombs (just wait and see...)

I'd like your source for this figure of millions and billions, without which this statement must be considered "funkenshit".Funk N. Furter wrote:'the workers' is a term used by millions and billions of people across the globe

To avoid "civil war" (aka: "to control the territory and the area") the U.S. will drop bombs on pyramids and/or innocent population (as usual), then they'll claim they "exported democracy". Same old american movie.
