The Lounge vs. 1 Italian 1 Cup

Post by beats me » Tue Aug 27, 2013 7:12 pm

UPDATE: While waiting for the next world crisis that can only be solved through the use of US firepower (can’t any world crisis?), why don’t we discuss the redheaded step child of the US military, the local low self-esteem spree killer.

UPDATE: Looks like the death of 1,500 mostly innocent people will be responded to by putting up an international guard post in front of the weapon toy box. Let’s all pat ourselves on the back for keeping the fight bullet and explosives based.

The US no doubt is going to be dropping a pain barrage on the Syrian government for gassing people. I really wish we would stop doing this with little more than a “I’m cool with that” note from our allies. The entire planet short of the actual target could be on board with our actions but we’ll still get close to 100% of the hate for doing it.

We need to have a true ally military force equally represented and paid for by its members. And the little army men running around in UN helmets making sure there’s no funny business going on don’t count. Where’s the UN aircraft carriers or asshole buster bombs? The US needs to quit being the brute force gimp egged on mostly by the lip service yes men of its allies, blamed for both action or inaction.

Do you mean we on a global scale or we on a national scale?
If as a nation, of course we should have this and even the founders thought we should have this, they called it a militia. Unfortunately the militia was made to look like a bunch of hicks (that sometimes it is) in the 90's.

Also I was thinking about this last night and just like in 2002 I thought 'what is the point, what is the end goal here' and the end goal is always globalization. Globalization is a good thing in a semi perfect world where everyone for the most part, agree's on some basic laws. In the current world we cant even agree on anything at a city or town level, let alone a state or country level. To think about unifying the world and act on the thoughts at this point seems ignorant. It's trying to unify people by force which is no better than what some religions do (think like us or die).
And how good will this new world government actually be when the creators of it are currently ignoring real democracy? Were we given a vote on invading anything? Are they telling us the truth why they are invading (of course not you should laugh when thinking that ) So why should we think that in this future government everything is going to be peace instead of a new corporate slavery system. They could at least give us some believable lies if they want to patronize us.
I remember a few years ago the saying was "think outside of the box" I really hate that saying. Are the controlling powers sure they want me to think out side of a box? Obviously its just a saying so you will come up with more ideas within the work force only.

I’m talking about on an international level. I keep hearing “along with our coalition partners”, but if a coalition has 5 members then each should be kicking in 20% of everything, not 80% one member and the other 20% spread out amongst the other members.

And yeah there are going to conflicts that may largely be one country’s problem, but many times there are conflicts that a lot of countries agree it’s everybody’s problem but won’t back it up with action, or equal action.

Governments and religion are both BS (belief systems). They both peddle the lie that a superior authority will save you. They can't and if the carnage is to stop, the human race needs to grow up and drop the BS.

I don't think its humans as a race that's the problem I feel its a very small amount of humans/slave drivers who are the dictators.
Some of the slaves are successfully brainwashed to believe the shit that their slave masters tell them while most despise their masters and just go along with it all out of fear of being beat.

Hmm, I don't often get involved in political discussions on this form, but what the hell

It's like a re-run of Iraq with even more cluelessness.

Main problem is the US is going to get militarily entangled in Syria, with absolutely no idea of what the end goals are, what the purpose is, or who to back.

There's not even any foreign policy wins for the US here. Not even from a hawkish republican point of view. Obama's main reasons to go this route is domestic politics. He wants to be taken seriously at home.

The world is a fucking tinder box at the moment, and watching the US is like watching a man with a lit match wandering around in a room full of gunpowder.

It would be funny if it was not so fucking tragic.

The fact that there is no (obvious) benefit to the US taking action in Syria and it’s being sold as punishment for using chemical weapons as agreed to by UN member countries is the exact reason the UN needs its own military force with all member countries equally represented. This military force would be supplemental to the country’s own military.

I see this as an elite club with big (dangerous) toys. What other elite club can you pay 5% of the dues but also have 100% of the benefits, vote, and protection?

The goal seems clear to me. The actor Obama is not the one behind it he is just the one playing out the role of a leader (bravo to him).
What seems to be going on is an attack on all the Arab countries because they are the most opposed to western governments (unfortunately most of their answers to a government being Islam/government is even more idiotic.)Once all opposition is crushed then the "new world order" (whatever the fuck that is) can take place.
I wish they would just give us a road map, maybe we would like the "new world order". All anyone can do is come up with theory's to explain why this is happening at this point, and most theory's point to something even more ridiculous and fucking stupid than the governments we have now.

Im sure the U.N. will get its own military force once it becomes the U.W. (United World...under Wal Mart  )
We will all have a job within the military under the safety of Wal-Mart.

The US army could have FED's logo on their uniforms (as well as all NATO armies...).
It's all about spreading FED's economical hegemony in the world and creating the global debt beyond the measure to justify FED's printing more and more worthless dollar bills...
And it's not even disguised for public opinion, because the mob just doesn't care anymore.
Since the whole western economy is in debt to FED it actually doesn't matter which country pays for military activities - all the money lands in the FED's vault in the end.
It's more PR than anything else. With US army in the front FED participation is more appearent.
It seems that Bernake and other puppets considered Syria having too low debt...
Just wonder how serious are Putin's warnings in that matter...

I know well how war propaganda works in the U.S. so no wonder americans believe in the "nervine gas attack" (probably made by the "rebels"... supported by the U.S.) and "Assad is a dangerous dictator" fairy tales. Actually: (1) napalm, white phosphorus, depleted uranium etc. were used by the U.S. army causing thousands innocent victims among civil population (children, too); (2) The U.S. always supported dictatorships in the past (Chile, Argentina, Spain, Greece etc.) and so they are doing nowadays (see, in that area: Saudi Arabia, Bahrein, Qatar etc.). Why the U.S. are going to attack Syria? Because Syria was allied to Iran and has been supporting Palestinian and Libanon's resistence. This is more than enough for the U.S. The same was for Iraq: Oil + Israel's "security" + political/economical control. In that case: anthrax hoax, 911 connections, "exporting democracy" and such bullshit (war propaganda). In this case: the "gas attack" (an obvious poor excuse in order to "justify" this new U.S. war). The aim is plain: they want to split that area into small and harmless U.S. puppet's states (based on pseudoislamic/tribal governments: see Afghanistan). The same they will do in Libanon and Iraq (so called "evolution no revolution" american policy: in order to control that area the U.S won't obviously permit a real socialist/social revolution). U.N. "decisions"? What a joke, it's the U.S. that rules (alas). For me this will cause a WW3 or smth...
