I know well how war propaganda works in the U.S. so no wonder americans believe in the "nervine gas attack" (probably made by rebels, supported by the U.S.) and "Assad is a dangerous dictator" fairy tales. Actually: (1) napalm, white phosphorus, depleted uranium etc. were used by the U.S. army causing thousands innocent victims among civil population (children, too); (2) The U.S. always supported dictatorships in the past (Chile, Argentina, Spain, Greece etc.) and nowadays, too (see, in that area: Saudi Arabia, Bahrein, Qatar etc.). Why the U.S. are going to attack Syria? Because Syria was allied to Iran and has been supporting Palestinian and Libanon's resistence. This is more than enough for the U.S. The same was for Iraq: Oil + Israel's "security" + political/economical control. Of course they invented the anthrax hoax, the 911 etc. The aim is plain: they want to split that area into small and harmless U.S. puppet's states (based on pseudoislamic governments: see Afghanistan). The same they will do in Libanon and Iraq (so called "evolution no revolution" american policy: in order to control that area the U.S won't obviously permit a socialist/social revolution). U.N. "decisions"? What a joke, it's the U.S. that rules (alas). For me this will cause a WW3 or smth...

I dont think most Americans believe this shit about Syria, maybe a handful of human drones believe it but most dont. Its too obvious that this whole thing is bullshit. I agree with everything else you wrote.

It's like a re-run of Iraq with even more cluelessness.

Main problem is the US is going to get militarily entangled in Syria, with absolutely no idea of what the end goals are, what the purpose is, or who to back.

There's not even any foreign policy wins for the US here. Not even from a hawkish republican point of view. Obama's main reasons to go this route is domestic politics. He wants to be taken seriously at home.

The world is a fucking tinder box at the moment, and watching the US is like watching a man with a lit match wandering around in a room full of gunpowder.

the idea that Assad would have used chemical weapons is a fucking insult to the intelligence. The week the UN inspectors arrive? When he had 80% backing of the Syrian people and was winning?

All it does is expose once more just how bad things have got in the US and UK where these soulless psychopathic ghouls running the world on behalf of us could stand up and actually speak the words that this is some kind of moral thing while they know well the people they are backing are the ones that just used chemical weapons on fucking civilians including children.

No fucking way Assads people were behind that, so what this tells us about our own governments is far more hideous in a way.

After serving 10 years in the Army I've come to the realization that it doesn't matter if it is Republican or Democrat, they both are war mongers. The Republicans go to war to further enrich the already wealthy. The Democrats go to war over some perceived idea that we are going to save someone, which ALWAYS turns out to be B.S. The end results are the same. We end up destroying a country and making more enemies.

I voted for Obama, but if he gets us involved in this internal conflict, then I'll never vote for another Democrat again. The military is made up mostly of young people that sign up to defend their country, not to be used as either parties Gestapo. There is no good that can come out of this.

I was in Somalia in 93 under Clinton. We were told that we were going to defend the U.N. so they could feed starving people. I was all over that damn city and I never saw anymore starving people than any other city I'd been into. Not only that, but the different factions would use us against their rival faction. No good came of it. Our guys, my friends, died for nothing.

I hear all this talk about someone gassing someone else in Syria, but no proof of who did it. The same people feeding us info about this are the same ones that told us Saddam had WMD and was a threat against us. I didn't believe them then and I don't believe them now. The military war machine is incredibly effective at keeping us in a constant state of war for their own benefit and we soldiers blindly march on to the propaganda thinking we are saving the day. The country has been duped and continues to be duped. Don't believe the lies.
