This is very arrogant and implies that this place is for "angloamericans". That is one of the reasons why, in my opinion, foreing users left the lounge and the few remained never post anything. Again, english is not good as an international language, because americans often forget this aspect (foreign people don't speak english, they just use it).

Don't be ignorant for the sake of being ignorant.

You seem to be able to use the web to find images just fine... but by all means, let me assist you:

Feel free to use the links above to educate yourself on the words you are throwing about to describe others.

I would think 'anglo' in the USA is more associated with WASP, not with KKK.

So my sense (correct me, people!) is that in the USA the word Anglo would be used by Spanish speakers would characterize Americans with a protestant, English background). The word would not be used to other kinds of hyphenated american (pakistani, black, jewish, etc)

And it would be considered very offensive to characerize them as such.

In fact the USA is a very diverse country with a tremendous amount of political and cultural diversity. While large numbers of Americans truly do seem to be pig-ignorant (sorry), as many of them are not, and their views do not confirm to your narrow picture of what America is about.

In fact, I would guess that 80-90% :P 8) of USA citizens in this forum would disagree pretty thoroughly with the foreign actions of the American government in the last ten years.

This is why some people on this thread find your cultural stereotyping offensive.
myrnova - you should read the post by The Finn quoted here ^.

When you are finished, read it again. Read it over and over until you understand it, because when you finally understand what The Finn has so graciously put into words for you... you will finally understand why the Americans you incessantly bash feel about you the way they do.

Stop feigning ignorance. You are at the very least intelligent enough to have learned the English language well enough to come to this music forum and post your angry insults. Now try using your gift of intellect to grasp for some actual understanding regarding those you are so quick to collectively insult.

In Italy the only people who believe in this cheesy fairy tale about U.S.A. are Berlusconi and his neofascist allied crew... (guess why Berlusconi and the mafia are U.S. best friends...) Actually, the U.S. were founded by white supremacist racists who killed at least 10-15 million natives (a genocide), had slavery (african slaves) and even nowadays have death penalty and spend 400.000.000 dollars a year for war (20 millions deaths in the last 25 years. Let alone WW2 and the fact they occupied Italy during italian civil war, once they reaized the partisans were able to fight the nazifascists alone). Let alone 5 millions deaths in vietnam, 3 millions deaths in cambodia, and all the fascist military dictatorships always supported by U.S. (South Africa included). Even nowadays (in times of "peace") the U.S. military bases in Italy are 113 (nuclear bombs and drones included). The saddest thing is when italian people (usually rightish, neofascists, mafia supporters, bersluscon supporters and such shit) claim "the U.S. liberated us"

In USA the only people who believe in this cheesy fairy tale about Italy are 9V and his neodumbass allied crew... (guess why 9V and the myrnova are best friends...) Actually, the Italians were founded by olive skinned supremacist racists who killed at least 100-150 million natives (a genocide), had slavery (african slaves) and even nowadays have death penalty by hanging and spend 400.000.000.000 Euro a year for stupid shit (20 bozillion deaths in the last 25 years. Let alone WW2 and the fact the US had to occupied Italy because during italian civil war 80-90% Italy government was sucking Nazi dick every day, once they reaized the partisans were able to fuck the nazifascists alone they spent millions on hotel rooms). Let alone 5 millions deaths in car accidents, 3 millions deaths in cancer wards, and all the machinery always supported by farmers. (South Africa included). Even nowadays (in times of "profit") the U.S. military bases in Italy are 113 (nuclear bombs and drones and cool jeeps included) and the Italians make profit off of selling the US soldiers food and clothing and the Italian woman like to date them because they have hot American joysticks. The saddest thing is when italian people (usually rightish, leftish and everythinginbetweenish supporters and such shit) claim "these shoes look great with this blazer"

I've been doing the following:

Make a Live set with one audio track, with just a very simple sample (one click is good).

Route the audio track to sends only, and send to B

In Return track B, enable send to A

In Return track A, put a filter delay.
Also in track A, enable Send to A and Send to B.

Now play around with track level and the sends in Return Track A

You get the most amazing caterwauling as the signal loops back upon itself. Within a few seconds, you can kill the audio track and play with pure feedback.

One of the interesting things is that the noise that results is to some degree quite independent of the original sound in the audio track. Try it and see.

Reading this thread with the howl of self referential feedback going is quite an entertaining experience. In many ways, the behaviour of the thread mirrors and parallels the behaviour of the audio feedback loop in Live.

With some tweaking, it may even become an aesthetically interesting experience.

I will continue playing around. In time one can even consider creating a kind of live installation (Ableton Live forum plus sonic feedback loop).
