Er... no. "Free" != "paid for by the taxpayers".

Just sayin'...

This is one the major crippling factors in socialist theory. All socialists ? Human race.

For socialism to not be a violent dictatorship, it requires the explicit consent of all involved. Which it will never have. Hence, even from a political standpoint, socialism fails.

This is especially true of Trotskyism, which holds that the revolution must be global in order to succeed.

Technically, you're not an expert on anything except parroting socialist drivel and spamming forums with your irrelevant links.
Its a basic fact.
No it isn't. Prove it.
Not sure what you mean by specific.
To grow food requires time and energy. These are what are known as "costs". Be specific in explaining how we would grow more food to meet the nutritional needs of the global population, and explaining what opportunity costs such an endeavor would entail.
The human race. I am a socialist, ie a communist.
... and quite the functional retard to boot, apparently.

Obviously I'm going to get a very mature level of debate from you aren't I?
Why the objection? It's common knowledge that your average vegetarian is 47'928 times more likely to suffer from chronic estrogen poisoning than your average meat-eater*.

* A fact I'm more than willing to back up with hard data once you explain how food would invariably become free in a socialist society.

Food would be free in the same way that people would be free. Liberal relativism extends not only to ontology and ethics, but also to semantics. Hence Newspeak, Funken and Marx's beard.

I think the recent reports about Tesco [UK's largest supermarket] binning 30,000 tonnes of food in six months suggests there is plenty of food to go around. I just thought I'd mention it as you're a fan of governmental incompetence and mismanagement. Oh wait, this is a corporate... Never mind.

...food which was produced by capitalism. Socialism can't produce shit. Seriously, ask an expert, and all you'll hear is "we don't do economics or wha'effah, but trust us, there'll be food aplenty, like, yo mama so fat she must live in a socialist utopia".

I have explained how it would be free. There would be no charge, like for medical treatment. This already happens in many countries in healthcare.
That's not an explanation. Try again, poindexter.

Er, no. If it's paid for then by definition, it's not free. You new to the English language, perchance?
I didn't have to pay yesterday when I went to the hospital.
True. However, others -- hard-working citizens -- were forced to pay in order to cover your lazy, broke ass. Doesn't seem particularly fair to me.

You don't pay at all, the workers pay, you are just a leech and freeloader, where's your self respect?

Ever heard of market distortion?

Incidentally, during the "economic growth" you allude to, up to 10 million people died due to starvation in the USSR.
