BPD is probably the most complex, hardest to diagnose, and hardest to treat of all conditions.

But in a way I think it is probably almost the complete opposite of psychopathy. Psychopaths are non emotional and have a strong sense of self, and are as a result capable of being plain evil because of their innate belief in their own right to do what they want regardless of effect on others.

BPD don't know who the fuck they are and are extremely emotional and victims of their emotions and care far too much about shit they shouldn't care about. But they are also capable of switching and being incapable of seeing the effects of their actions, but usually that passes and then they feel terrible about it and hate themselves even more.

At least that's how I've seen it played out.

BPD is hard work, they may be emotionally exhausting, but they can also at times be very emotionally available and loyal, and they won't send you to gas chambers or sell you products that will kill you. The psychopaths will.
