They think their old products are exciting enough.

Too bad its such a niche product. The sentiment should be expressed with a popular mainstream product.
Re: Realtraps announcement
awesome!
it would be cool if the world took a year or two off of making new shit that is nothing more than a fresh coat of paint and/or slight reconfiguration of old shit.
i'll put that on the top of the "things to do when humanity is extinct" list.

Except we still want the ability to colour waveforms when Live 10 comes around.
And PDC.

Like people queuing up from 4am to be the 100 millionth to buy last year's iphone, which is exactly the same as the year before's, and the year before that's?beats me wrote:

THAT.
Except it's never EXACTLY the same. The new features just aren't worth lining up for. A large part of the problem is also shareholders expecting new versions to roll out annually, no matter what.

R&D 1st year says: "on this model you plug the power chord on the left"
R&D 2nd year says: "on this model you plug the power chord on the bottom"
R&D 3rd year says: "on this model you plug the power chord on the right"
R&D 4th year says: "on this model you plug the power chord on the top"
these and other insightful re-configurations make Gizmodo cum.

It doesn't seem very Applish if the parallax is going to be a battery drainer, which seems like that would be obvious, which is why you'd think they'd come up with a magic way to not have it drain.
Bye, magic, er, Apple, er, Steve.
Also, my power cord from my ipod 5g (now Classic) is still completely in tact, while my iPod Touch cord (which is also shorter) had one end stripped and exposed for no reason within a year. I don't have pets and it looks like it's chewed up.
Thanks for keeping the quality (and length) high, Apple.
And oh yeah, RealTraps, buy them.
