Do you sleep in your Studio? Sleep where you Work?

Post by tastypants » Fri Jun 13, 2014 11:32 pm

So, I am usually away at college, but I am home for the summer and my father and I are about to do some work to my bedroom.

I'm about to buy a new computer, and about to mount a few monitors to my wall. I made room for my controllers and keyboard and all of that. I'm pretty excited..

It's just.. I'm almost weary about having my bedroom being my studio.. I guess it's because I'm a bit of a hypochondriac..

I feel as if it's not the greatest thing to be sleeping in a bedroom with 4 monitors and a computer running along with controllers and keyboards sitting there.. I don't know why, but it sketches me out a bit.. maybe I'm worrying to much... I think about EMF waves to much.

So, anyone here have a similar situation? Bedroom studio? sleep where you work?

my studio is in my bedroom, and i prefer it that way as well. im most productive and creative in the mornings, and if i wake up and feel like making music i can get straight to it without loosing that inspiration/thought/idea. also i tend to have some late nights working in the studio as well, and if my ears get tired or my brain isnt working, i can just fall asleep. i dunno, for me it is more natural, as i am just as comfortable in my studio as i am in my bed (just remember to get outside once in awhile, to disconnect from yourself, and to simply listen to nature itself) :P
