how about bill gates and his wife for all of the charitable work they do, charity is great for anybody but what I really like about them is that they don't want to just throw money at something they want to get results with their money.

Most of Gates's money has actually only benefited American agri tech companies. I work in the field of rural development in Africa & there are many who believe the Gates Foundation's work on agriculture is misguided. But they won't listen to criticism.

Yup, so Gates is kinda cool, but also very flawed. AGRA's policies in subsaharan Africa are dangerous and destructive. So though I think he's not bad, he's not in my list of the greatest.
