Now, now Tom. Your word of the day is:

None of that makes them any less true and sometimes in life - most times - stating the fucking obvious is just what the doctor ordered. Plus, ST is right. It's about FORM, bro.

Re: 10 Day Vipassana Meditation Retreat
TomV, I have an idea.
Before you dive into any sort of meditation or deep introspection as advised, how's about you simply try to say something nice to someone in this thread? It can be anything, really. Just try it. For instance, I said something nice about your music and immediately felt better about myself, you, and the world around me. You could comment to ST that you like his salsa picture. Or you could really suck it up and let MW know that you appreciate his wit and eloquent manner of posting.
Anything will work, bro. Give it a try. Sometimes big changes start with the smallest - and most SELFLESS - of gestures.

Re: 10 Day Vipassana Meditation Retreat
This about sums it up doesn't it? You're perfectly OK with knocking dead people, but not OK with people knocking a belief system.TomViolenz wrote:I thought both of his comments were very predictable. I expected no less (or more ) from him.So yeah LSZ by a mile!
But it's interesting that thread busting is all fun and games when it goes against "western men trying to kype eastern groovy medicinal crap" (<--disdain for beliefs other than yours much?! ).
But when a comment questions RIP threads , all hell breaks loose
To the point of calling a recently dead actors work playing an emotionless alien 'wooden', fucking priceless!
