It is a spring reverb. They can be fun and boingy. Fun effect to just hit the box and hear it go BOINGIGNGINGINGINGING!

You will need some DIN connectors or a cable you can bastardize into a 1/4". Look up 5 pin DIN audio for some pinouts.

OH and you can overload it to get some tasty overdrive too.

hmmm... will try it out with the din-jacks and will ask my grandfather, if there are any recordings
of him... in the box is also a bill about a magnetophon, so maybe he saved some tapes
