One of my parents’ neighbors is a cop. He said murders go unsolved all the time but all the murder porn series and channels would have you believe no murder goes unsolved.

That's the way most justice systems work, to acquit a suspect you do not have to prove someone else did it. That only happens in TV and movies.

You only have to prove the suspect did not do it.
