Anyone else at work?

Post by empathy1 » Mon Apr 06, 2015 4:43 pm

I work at an independent bookseller in Chicago that deals in rare asian titles. As you can all probably imagine, business isn't too upbeat at any time of year.

Anyone else working a dreaded job that would rather be at home playing with synths? What do you all do to pass the time?

I’ve been under the impression that everybody who posts here regularly is at work. 8O

Just became a student, 15 years after graduating high school, and same minimum wage fast food job the past 12 years, with a a brief break last year. The nice thing is, in the morning before we open, when I am alone, I get to listen to all sorts of things on their semi-shitty boom box. Believe it or not, that is a huge bonus.

It's been quite a while since I cared :|

But women, who would take issue with my life choices, wouldn't interest me anyways.

I dunno I think you'd be slightly happier with a very large and lazy hoarder chick (you'd think is a bulldyke) who likes to yell verbally abusive things and boss you around.

Women had their chance to NOT make my life more miserable, they failed pretty spectaculary on more occasions than I care to remember in achieving even that.

So thanks, but I think I'll pass :x
