Or Cyber Monday.

I'm curious what NI is going to throw down this holiday season because they've already broken off from their historical sales patterns.

The way things are going I think we are going to start seeing Christmas sales in August because retailers don’t want a competitor to beat them to people’s wallet. :x

I just picked up a Make Noise 0-Coast. I haven't done anything muscially useful with it yet, but it sure is fun! Oh, and glow in the dark patch cables.

Because.... well... glow in the dark, c'mon.

To those of you who are into orchestral stuff: you might want to check out 8Dio's current fire sale: 70? off the entire Adagio strings series. 8Dio are going to release a polished "anthology" version of the entire Adagio range in December. The old libraries certainly have their flaws, most of which can be worked around, but it's worth noting. At the current price, though, now would certainly be the time to grab a couple of their libraries if you don't want the entire range.

Watched the demo video for the new Fabfilter reverb. If nothing else the controls seem to be intuitive in use and labeling. I still wish there was a reverb that showed a 3D layout of a room where you could place the sound source, adjust the size of the room, and maybe adjust the material type the walls are made of. Pro version would also have objects you could place around the room. Seems like a no brainer for a reverb UI.

JRRshop has started an Ableton sale including Ableton Push 2 $639

They also give discount for kvr forum members but you probably can't discount it twice.

There's a 20% off sale on Live, Push 2, and all Packs from now until Jan 11th on the Ableton site as well.

So what's on your wish/buy lists for the sales and end of year, guys?

I'm gonna see what the Black Friday weekend brings, and I'm always anticipating Sonokinetic's x-mas sale, but other than that, I've got Diva and the aforementioned Pro-R on top of my list. Serum has also been on that list for a while, but I really fell in love with Diva when demoing it recently.

Thanks for that. Ordered Push 2. :)

Now I just need to fret about the shipping date since I'm shipping it to my work and we are closed next Thurs - Sun. :x No biggie if I don't get it until after the holiday but it's always :? when something conveniently ships so that it would arrive on a day that turns out to be a holiday.

I hope Push 2 looks as good collecting dust as Maschine Studio because I don’t have the space to prominently display and occasionally use both. :| :x

Anyone has an experience and opinion on the Tricky Traps Max For Live device?

What about Isotonik Studio's Chaos Culture's - Multiclip Editor? Does it revolutionize composing even if you heavily use the Push or a keyboard?

Finally, surely non-installed software still counts as collected, right?

I've been so close to buying the multi clip editor several times, but I can't shake the feeling that this should be a part of Live natively. I might go ahead and do it, if we don't hear any mention of Live 10 soon. I prefer to keep my sets M4L free, though.

That looks pretty sweet. M4L devices are usually off my radar for collecting but that’s mostly because I was using Logic exclusively for years and I'm not really a fan of DAW exclusive purchases. I’ve come back to Live recently so maybe it’s time to throw some M4L purchases in the heap.
