Is there a way to record in cycle mode with out creating takes or having the audio deleted with each pass?
What I want is to loop record in logic how you would in Live's arrange view.
I want to record, have it loop and drag the recording out along the time line when Im done.
Is this possible in Logic?
I have read the manual on recording and have searched the internet but have not come up with a solution.

You’d think since I switched to Logic years ago I would be more knowledgeable but I’m still learning. Just last night I was trying to figure out how to overdub automation with a controller without it erasing the MIDI data already recorded, possibly related to what you are trying to do. Not in front of Logic at the moment, but it involved changing the drag type located towards the top right of the main window and also something in the MIDI record options in the main preferences.
