Thank you for the kind comments
While I am at it, here's another one.
I've taken to getting up at 04h30 to have time for music. Evening are just too full of dealing with teenagers, domestic management and so on. It seems to be paying off.
This was also just a quick sketch, two hours. This one is the first one in which I tried to actually, like sing. OK, heavily disguised with vocoder . But hey. And it's in Afrikaans, too

Another good one, you seem to have been graced by the muse, well wishes for continued creativity and inspiration. I have a 12 year old and a 9 (going on 23) year old, so I get the creative complications that arise with parenting responsibilities.re:dream wrote:Thank you for the kind comments

Great track as well! Yes, we gotta make time for production any way we can. The voice works very well I think. Can't wait for the next onere:dream wrote:Thank you for the kind comments

Took a break from the usual trancy-techno-y-industrial stuff I usually do to create something quiet and peaceful. Every once in a while, my late night jam sessions lead to this:

got back from vienna the other day and just got this together from the stuff i recorded there. went to the big flea market but didn't buy anything, went on that massively high fairground carousel which goes up 90 metres or so, drank plenty beer, ate schnitzel and saw plenty art. wow it was hot there, 36 degrees

Re: Post your August 2015 track
i got given the stems from a track by a singer songwriter that i know and i've spent the last month knackering them up and building something new with my own blend of nonsense incorporated into the finished thingy.
you can watch and hear it here : https://vimeo.com/136874895
and i put it on my website here : http://slatepipe.co.uk/two-night-the-sl ... e-jemmett/
you can listen to the original track, called tonight, via itunes on her website here : http://sadiejemmett.com/
i've never used itunes so i can't vouch for this but it should work ok
cheers

Groovey, introspective, I dig it. What's making the glitchy vocal filtered sounds?

I like the vibe on this one too, though that snare drum is driving me crazy for some reason. Vocals sound fine to me in that vocoded wayre:dream wrote:While I am at it, here's another one.

Needs loads of reverb I like the motif you're playing, just got a little repetitive and I started focusing on the raw sounds more than what you were playing. Needs something to cary a bit more in those empty spaces. Just opinions obviouslyRichie Witch wrote:Took a break from the usual trancy-techno-y-industrial stuff I usually do to create something quiet and peaceful.
