Most backpacks that will hold the laptop should work.
Push 2 Dimensions

Height (body): 26mm (1.02 inches), (body + encoders): 42mm (1.65 inches)

if you're looking for a brand that makes cool backpacks, try Dakine

Not normally. Backpack "model numbers" are one of those forget it right after the purchase, if you looked at all, type things.
... But, by a freakish coincidence, my kid was cleaning his room and BLAM! there were the labels from his most recent backpack;
Dakine Jewel 26L
I put my Push 1 in it and it fit. A slightly wider backpack, like one designed for a larger laptop, might be better... but it would get you from place to place in a water resistant fashion.

This one is tried and true for me:

What I pack in it:
Push 2
Macbook Pro
UAD TB Satellite
iPad
All cables, chargers, usb dongles
Extras: Water. Snacks, Condoms, Maryjane.
I don't like messenger bags because they are ergonomically bad for health. This backpack evenly distributes the weight and offers solid protection.

I'm from New York, so I have that "don't even fuck with me" swagger. Also, I've been in Asia 2 years now...the least likely place a black person gets robbed.

Re: Any suggestions on backpack for Ableton Push 2?
Hey. I know this is an old post but it is one of the first results to pop up on Google about a backpack that fits both an Ableton Push 2 and a laptop. I have a 17.3 inch Alienware 17 R4 laptop and from my search it seemed like my only option was to pay top dollar for a specialty DJ bag to fit both items in one backpack. But, I was wrong. I found that the 17” Drifter II Laptop Backpack by Targus can fit the 17.3 inch Alienware 17 R4 in the main zip compartment (it doesn’t fit in the laptop sleeve but next to it and is well padded) with the Ableton Push 2 fitting in the smaller zip compartment next to the main one. There’s lots of room leftover for headphones in another compartment, space in the unused laptop sleeve, and some other compartments as it is a huge bag. At time of writing that backpack is on Amazon for $59.99. I hope someone finds this post useful as it was a real headache trying to find a bag that would carry my 17.3 inch laptop and the Push 2.

thanks for the recommendation on the Targus Drifter II 17" backpack to store a laptop and push 2 with extra space left over. I went ahead and ordered it.
