OS X 10.11.5
Anyone has anything to report on the update OS X 10.11.5 and Live 9.6.1? I need to move some data before I make a whole backup so haven't updated yet,
Make some music!

Nothing helpful to add, but thanks for starting this thread because I plan to upgrade in the next month or so from Yosemite to El Capitan before Apple releases their next “don’t upgrade yet if you do anything outside email or facebook!!” macOS in the Fall.
I'll be watching other people completely ignore this threat as well.

Re: OS X 10.11.5
I have no problems with 10.11.5 Like others I had many minor issues when 10.11 was first released, but like most software (Ableton Live) it seems to take a year to get things working normal.

Can you split screen 2 safari windows on El Capitan? I know you can split screen different apps that support it but couldn’t find anything about 2 Safari windows.
And I know this is doubtful, but it would be nice if you could split screen between a DAW and plugins. I know you can resize windows and just drag things around but it would be nice if it would just auto resize the DAW to fill one side and plugins always open in the other. Less hassle. Or even just have the finder open on one side when looking for audio files to drag and drop. How about auto splitting between Live’s main interface and mixer?

It doesn't look like you can do that, or at least i can't figure out how.
Re: OS X 10.11.5
this update has been way better then Yosemite. Yay for no more kernel panics in live.
