Post by jeffthedrummer » Sun Sep 18, 2016 10:18 pm

Hey I need help my Mac all of the sudden has no wifi connection. It just says no hardware installed. And now I'm having issues with ableton saying I need to register but I've already done this. I don't know what to do. Can't get my wifi back! Any suggestions??? Thanks

Probably nvram or smc got messed up, so your wireless adapter is missing and Live thinks there was a hardware change so it unauthorizes itself.

Instructions to reset nvram / smc here:

Also upgrade to El Capitan when you can. Yosemite sucked.

TOPIC MOVED
Hi Jeff,
Please take a few seconds to ask yourself what the appropriate forum might be before posting. This topic clearly has nothing to do in the music production forum, but is completely welcome here in the Lounge.
Regarding your Ableton authorisation issue, you have an option to authorize offline. It's all explained in Live's authorization window, but you'll find more informations HERE
I hope you can get this solved soon
Cheers
