I did it and it's a load of bollocks, loads of weird shit happening that I don't even have time to try and explain, but I admit I ignored my long held understanding that you never do the first Apple update, but give them a little ironing out time.

I did it too, other than Quickbooks not being supported until next week's update, no issues here.

The only thing I was looking forward to is PiP, but it sounds like for now it only really works well with videos you have in iTunes. Youtube is hit or miss and when it hits you can't rewind, forward, or scrub. Mostly I wanted to use it for tutorials while working in the application at the same time. So it sounds like for now its useless. Last I heard it doesn't work for Netflix or HBO Now/Go either.

Interestingly I’ve had sound dropouts and file loading issues with Serum in Logic after upgrading to Sierra. I don’t have those issues when I use it in Live. You would think Apple would have their shit together with their own software.

I upgraded earlier in the release than I usually do, but I’m really not using my computer that much these days so I thought what the hey. Really I just wanted to try some of the new features, but that took me all of 5 minutes to play with. Now onto the bugs!

Aside from music production I'm quickly becoming one of those people who really doesn't need a computer.
